Kids Challenge!

Here is my son's card for the A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA kids challenge that I'm hosting over on the AP blog. He's 4.5 years old. Geeta suggested the idea of doing a challenge for kids and we thought it was great - thanks Geeta! My son has his own ink, stamps, and paper, and frequently stamps with me, but this time he got to use my stuff! He was so excited! We went through my stamps and there were probably thirty that he liked best, so I helped him narrow it down and he did everything else himself. The white layer started as a rectangle, and he decided to cut it to look like a potato - lol! The inside is actually glued together to make a single panel card (he was determined to glue it shut for some reason). He's very proud of his creation and I plan to read your comments to him. He's looking forward to seeing all the other cards made by kids too!

Then below is my kids themed card that I made for my son and for the 2nd part of the challenge. If you receive the A Muse Weekly newsletter, you may remember this as one of the Inspiring Ideas back in January with a change to the colors. These colors were inspired by some cute Carter's rocket ship pajamas I saw a while back in the kids section at Target. Can't wait to see your designs!

Awesome card! It's so great that you have your own stamping materials, and it was also pretty cool of Mom to share hers with you to make your yummy card. Keep up the nice work!!

Wow! I love chocolate, so I think this is my favorite card. You weren't trying to send a secret message to your mom to let you eat only dessert, were you? :)
