Hogwarts Express

The spell has been lifted! I finished Harry Potter book 7 on Thursday night, so I am no longer glued to it to find out what happens. I enjoyed it, but am relieved to be finished. And since I know there will still be two more movies, I don't really feel like it's the end - we'll still be hearing about Harry Potter for a while longer even though that was the last book. So Friday morning when I realized I'd never made a Hogwarts Express design, of course I just had to get out my stamps! The track was made by adding some faux stitching along the black line on the argyle band notecard. The sentiment is new and normally says "wishing you a magical holiday season", so I omitted "holiday season" and stamped "birthday" from the "happy birthday little dude" stamp. The "have a magical day" stamp would work great as well (but can you believe that is one I don't have - yet!) The steam is Pebbles Shimmer chalk as is the sparkle on the moon. The branch that Hedwig is perched on is one if my *favs* from the new A Muse release!

Love it! I think I need to go get these stamps and try and make this myself. I think my mom needs this for her birthday card...she MAY be a bigger Harry fan than me. Thanks for the inspiration!
