Quilled Critter

This was for the Virtual Stamp Night (VSN) quilling challenge over on SCS this weekend. For the VSN challenges, you only have 45 minutes to complete your project. So this card is super simple since I used the majority of the time on the grasshopper. Of course the A Muse sketch challenge was the first layout that popped in my mind so I went with it! He is based on the creatures in the Klutz Twirled Paper book. If you are thinking about getting into quilling, I highly recommend that book - it has everything you need!

It is a great card. Quilling is an art I looked into but seems hard.

OMG! I thought I was the only one left in the world that loved quilling!!! I picked up a little package at a craft store a couple years ago, and have made mostly (dowdy) flowers n'stuff. Now I MUST get that book and make something super-duper cuter! Thanks for the inspiration.
