Little Mermaid

This is for the weekend sketch challenge on SCS. The color combo (bordering blue and blush blossom - definitely a new one for me) is what transpired once I colored the A Muse mermaid. The water is blue vellum punched and then trimmed with wave scissors. Hand-lettering says "wish i could be" and inside says "part of your world". Mermaid colors were inspired by The Little Mermaid movie, but you can't really tell her shells are purple since I added DD. I used ruby red and a red Gelly Roll Stardust pen in her hair which really *shimmers* in person! I kinda wish I had trimmed the vellum a little higher cause the waves make her look a little hippy... no girl wants that!
