I've always had a fondness for any type of paper craft. When I was little, I made cards for my family with my little "Great Greetings" fashion plate card maker. I remember going to the art supply store with my Dad every weekend where I got to pick out a fancy marker or two to add to my collection. I started stamping in 2001 when I attended my first Stampin Up party and have been loving it ever since! I also enjoy quilling and combining some of my quilled creatures with stamped card designs.After a 10 year corporate career in Information Systems, I became a SAHM in 2005 when we moved across the country. Attending stamp camps has been a great way to make friends in a new city!
When it comes to my favorite stamping companies, I always want the scoop - to be in the know about anything new or retiring (new stamps, new paper, sales, etc) and that is how I came up with my pen name scoopy as well as the name of this blog.

Like you, I have never met a stamper I didn't like. They are all so helpful and willing to share their triumphs with you as well as their not so great!
